After EA’s Xbox issue and the player ratings/stats leaks started popping out, everyone was curious to see top ratings of players in FIFA 23. Messi, Mbappé, Neymar and Co. – in the new and final installment of FIFA, almost every player of Paris Saint-Germain gets downgraded!
On 30 August, 2022, EA Sports and Microsoft released FIFA 23 by accident, a whole month before the actual release. EA Play members were already able to play the new upcoming installment of FIFA – the online modes were taken down after couple of hours – but they couldn’t stop what happened next: all the new player ratings/stats got leaked. Which also resulted in EA hitting Content Creators with DMCA strikes on Twitter which led multiple account suspensions.
It is not known whether EA will change the overall ratings again. But in a statement issued by EA, they said that “Not all content was final“. However, we assume that the ratings are final. It would be weird if they would just quickly change them again, after all, EA has reasons why they choose stats like this.
