Festival of Football Update (Title Update #15) will soon be available for the PS5/PS4/XB1/XBSX|S/PC/SWITCH versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and includes the changes below.
This update adds a brand new gameplay experience, bringing you closer to the heart of European football through the authentic UEFA EURO 2024 Game Mode. We’re also introducing the Festival of Football in Football Ultimate Team, celebrating international competition through live content campaigns based on results on the pitch. Plus, we’ll share some details on some additions coming to skill moves, celebrations, Clubs and Career. Let’s dive in!
FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL
The Festival of Football is our kickoff to Season 7, designed to bring the thrill of international competition right into Football Ultimate Team. As international competition takes centre stage in the football world, we’re mirroring that excitement with themed content that spans the entire seasonal ladder. Keep an eye out for live items that will bring a dynamic element to your team, reflecting the real-world performances and fervour of these tournaments.

Ultimate Team
Addressed the following issues:
- Addressed instances of Loan Player matches exceeding 99 when combined with a duplicate Loan Player.
Gameplay
Made the following change:
- Added the new Double Touch Lane Change Skill Move which can be performed while standing or jogging.

Addressed the following issues:
- In certain situations where the Goalkeeper was rushing out, CPU AI controlled players would attempt to perform a chip shot and miss the net unintentionally.
- In some stadiums, ball kids could miss their throws to the intended player.
Career Mode
Made the following changes:
- Added Double-PlayStyles+ Player Items in the Youth Academy.

Addressed the following issues:
- In Manager Career, Player Items on International Duty could not be removed from the Starting 11 or Substitutions.
General, Audio, and Visual
Made the following changes:
- Added a new signature celebration.
- Updated some ad boards, kits, and UI elements.
Addressed the following issues:
- Addressed instances of players being able to Matchmake with different Matchmaking settings.
- Addressed instances of instability issues that could have occurred.
- Addressed instances of placeholder images.
- Addressed instances of incorrect or placeholder text.

Choose a side from any of the 24 qualified teams, or rewrite history with any other European national team available in EA SPORTS FC 24, and play against friends locally or against the CPU AI.
Enjoy the ‘Match of the Day’ fixture, updated with every real-life tournament matchday up to the Final match.

Play the most authentic UEFA EURO 2024 experience with real-life stadiums, broadcast packages, match ball and the coveted trophy, bringing the tournament’s atmosphere to your screen. Dive into the official tournament mode, playing with teams that will feature in the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament.
For those looking to rewrite history, set up a custom tournament that allows you to play with European teams and players who didn’t make the cut.
LEAD YOUR NATION
Play as an individual player or create your own custom Avatar to captain the team of your choice on the road to Berlin. As you play through the stages, you can control just that player or the whole national team. Complete training drills before each match to earn up to seven PlayStyles and enhance your game as you lead your country.
ONLINE FRIENDLIES
Experience the UEFA EURO 2024 Final atmosphere at the Olympiastadion Berlin as you reignite your competitive spirit with online friendlies. These allow you to challenge friends using any of the 24 qualified teams or from any other European national squad available in the game. Online Friends cross-play will be available for players on the same platform generation.
THE EUROPEAN JOURNEY
Embark on the European Journey and earn rewards across your favourite game modes by completing challenges themed around the different ways to play UEFA EURO 2024. Completing all the challenges will earn you a reward to embark on a new journey. The final reward will be revealed after the tournament ends.
