The eleven best players of the year 2022 will be rewarded with a Team of the Year card in FIFA 23. The TOTY is probably the most hyped promo – this level of top tier cards won’t be seen until summer and the Team of the Season.

What is Team Of The Year (TOTY)?
The FIFA 23 Team Of The Year (TOTY) is a special promo of 11 players in FUT who are voted as the best performers in the previous 12 months. FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team of the Year will feature the best players from 2022 and their cards will be given massive upgrades in the game as a result.
Who are Team Of The Year (TOTY) Nominees and when will be final XI team annouced?
On January 9th, 2023, the 100 Nominees were announced, from them you can also vote for the World’s Best XI. The final Team of the Year will be announced on January 19th.
Team Of The Year (TOTY) Release
We’ll see the Team Of The Year (TOTY) promo, which should be live from January 20th, 2023.
Team of the Year (TOTY) Honorable Mentions
Over the course of a year there are so many players that show outstanding performances. But EA Sports can’t give all of them a TOTY card. That’s why they introduced the Honorable Mentions.
This separate team consists of a lot more players who will also get some decent upgrades, but which are not quite as strong as the TOTYs.

It will probably be really similar to last year’s Team Of The Year (TOTY) promo, where we’ve seen a lot of different and nice cards.
