The Showdown Series brings that every-match-counts mentality to Ultimate Team, raising the stakes on the highly anticipated fixtures in world football with derby-themed re-releases and daily Showdown Player SBCs.
Enjoy a week of world-class matchups with daily Showdown SBCs that turn real-life results into rewards for your Ultimate Team. Each Showdown Player Item receives a base upgrade, with Player Items from winning teams receiving an additional +2 upgrade (or Player Items that draw each receiving a +1 upgrade) after the match concludes.
What is Showdown Series in EAFC 24?
Showdown items are unique items featuring improved ratings and stats. They were released for the first time in FIFA 20. One player from each team of an upcoming real world football match is selected and made available via Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) for a limited time. The player from the winning team receive +2 OVR boost, +1 Upgrade after Draw and 0 upgrade from the defeat.
EAFC 24 Showdown Series Promo: Release Date, Content & Players
Last year, Showdown Series was One week promo, and this year we hope the same. Showdown Series is expected to be released on 8th March, 2024. But the dates are subject to change as it solely depends on how EA are planning with the promos in EAFC 24.
EAFC 24 Showdown Series Content
Just like normal Showdown SBC’s in EAFC 24, the Showdown Series promo shares a similar structure. These cards will be obtainable through squad building challenges. As you might already know, EA’s promo teams usually stay in the packs for one week and some promos for two weeks. Additionally, we will see lots of re-release of special Player Items, Squad Building Challenges, Evolutions, Special Packs and also some free-to-play Objective players.
