EA Sports, via in-game messages, has announced that the Team Of The Week TOTW of the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team mode will not be released during the World Cup that is undergoing in Qatar.
The TOTW 9 is the last TOTW for now but will return with the return of regular league games.
In-game message said “Team of the Week will pause during the FIFA World Cup™. The final TOTW will run from Wednesday November 16 to Wednesday November 23, it will resume after the resumption of the domestic league season.”
TOTW 9 Players will remain in all Current TOTW packs until the next TOTW is released.
For all FUT Champions Finals events while the Team of the Week is paused, all packs containing Team of the Week and FUT Champions players will be replaced with new Min. OVR Rare Gold Packs and Players Picks. Stay tuned for an update in-game later this week.
The release of the Team Of The Week will resume with the resumption of the main European championships, so it is reasonable to expect the release of the TOTW 10 on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
