Cody Gakpo is FIFA 23 Eredivisie Player Of The Month – cheapest possible SBC solution and review!

With the 6 PM Content drop on 4th October, EA Sports released the 86 rated Eredivisie Player Of The Month (POTM) Cody Gakpo SBC in FIFA 23. The card look crazy good and perfect attacker at this point in game.

The Eredivisie Player Of The Month (POTM) winner is decided by fans from a previously announced Nominees list. Cody Gakpo stood out by scoring 2 Goals and 3 Assists in September with the PSV shirt.

You can redeem Gakpo‘s POTM card by completing the Squad Building Challenge (SBC) which is available in FUT 23 mode.

The Dutch winger looks absolutely insane stats wise. The beast looking card is equipped with 4⭐ SKILL MOVE & 4⭐ WEAK FOOT comes around for 25,000 coins, which surely is totally worth completing at this stage of game. He can be perfectly fit for most of the squads at this stage of game.

CODY GAKPO Review:

Played some games with this card and he is beauty. TBG, he was fun card to use and absolutely worth the price tag.

Pace 9/10

He has High & Average+ body type with 89 pace, and in game he really felt super-fast. He is fast enough to evade defenders when through on goal. You already get 89 Sprint speed and 88 Acceleration on this card so that’s enough for now on this card. Personally I will go with ENGINE chemistry style as it will improve his passing as well as dribbling too but to get maximum pace on this card HUNTER chemistry style is the one you can use.

Shooting 8.5/10

This card got cracked shooting, not much to say here. His shooting was insane. Finesse, chip shots everything is boosted. This card got some of the best shooting stats in the game which really makes the difference. The only issue was with his finishing, which bothered me couple of times while trying to shoot from outside the box. HUNTER chemistry style boosts his shooting and pace to maximum and I would suggest the same to use on this card.

Passing 7/10

The secondary position of this card is LM and If you are looking for someone to use more centrally, then this isn’t the one. He got average passing stats but in game he didn’t felt the same. Miss placed couple of easy short passes, long passing is horrible TBH. His link up play with teammates wasn’t that great. If you want to boost his passing stats (not gonna help much in-game), ENGINE chemistry style is the one you need to use.

Dribbling 8.5/10

The thing I liked about this card was dribbling but 4⭐ SKILL MOVE surely shows its down side here. I am not great with skills but left stick dribbling felt different. He was really agile and ball control was amazing. Moves silky with the ball at his feet. ENGINE chemistry style is perfect for the dribbling boost. Gets the dribbling attribute boosted to 97.

Well he isn’t gonna defend for you if you can’t.

Physical 8/10

Not the real physically strong card but at this stage of game 84 Stamina and 82 Strength isn’t bad. 64 aggression is not enough to win back balls once lost against defenders. The best way to boost his Physical stats is to use HAWK chemistry style. Wouldn’t be much of a use but should work fine. He is 189cm | 6’2″ and can surely win Ariel duels.

All in all, CODY GAKPO is a fun card to use. One of the best player in the game at this stage! Personally I recommend playing him as ST in-game, if you already don’t have better options. He’s worth every penny and the price tag is really cheap at this point of game. Get him if you can or need him, as fast as possible so you can enjoy him.
