FIFA 23 has been out for a month now, and players are hard at work in strengthening their squad on Ultimate team. There are two notable points about this year’s FIFA. First would be the game being EA’s last FIFA title, but the second one is a lot more exciting. FIFA 23 will include a World Cup, as the real-world FIFA World Cup 2022 approaches and players wish to learn more about it.
As previously reported by IGN, everyone was waiting for separate FIFA World Cup mode in FIFA 23, but now according to FUTSHERIFF, the famous FIFA content leaker “There will be no World Cup mode INSIDE FUT. There will be special cards and themed content, like a promo, but no mode.”
According to FUTSHERIFF, EA Sports will release FIFA WORLD CUP as a promo not a separate mode for which fans were surely excited.
“We will receive TIME LIMITED cards from the players in World Cup and we will use them to do Objectives and SBC’s based on WC.”
“Time Limited Players will be added to your account depending on the objs/sbcs you complete and will be REMOVED from your club after the “WC Season” (starting 11/11) is over.
All themed cards (Heroes, Stars, etc) are NOT limited and will continue at your club after you completed/earned them.”
After the news broke, some top content creators shared their opinions regarding this “major change” in the FUT this year.
