EA Sports released special objective Defying Expectations Objective in FIFA 23 during the 6:00 PM Fantasy FUT promo drop.
The Fantasy FUT promo is a returning showcase, as it was released previously in FIFA 22. Players who missed out on the promo last year won’t have to wait long as its release is just around the corner. Last year, players that got a Fantasy card could get 3 upgrades in total, but this year players can earn up to 4 upgrades – depending on their playtime and performance in their respective domestic league.
Fantasy FUT brings a new dimension of live, dynamic item to FUT 23, with big initial boosts and – the chance for players to earn OVR upgrades based on their individual contributions. Fantasy FUT is a Two Week promo.

Tasks to complete Defying Expectations Objective:
- England Title Contenders
- Arsenal are defying the odds as they sit atop the Premier League with a narrow lead, can they hold on? Win 7 matches in any Game Mode with 6 Premier League Players in your starting squad.
- French Connection
- With PSG looking to secure Ligue 1 they will need to rely on their attacking quality to secure the title. Assist 15 goals with a Ligue 1 Player in any Game Mode. Earn a FF Hero Team 1 10-Game Loan PP
- Great View at the Top
- Napoli FC are top in this years Scudetto race as they are favored to take the home title. Play 10 matches in any Game Mode with 6 Serie A Players in your starting squad.
- Iron Union
- Union Berlin is this year’s Bundesliga sweethearts, will they have enough firepower to secure 1st place? Score 15 goals with a Bundesliga Player in any Game Mode. Earn a FF Team 1 10-Game Loan PP
- Clinical Catalans
- Barcelona have been a competitive team in LaLiga this year and bagging points and goals every match is important. Score at least 2 goals in 4 separate matches with a LaLiga Player in any Game Mode
