European nights are returning soon, and the biggest teams from across the continent are battling it out under the lights to make it to the final of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League.
Road to the Final (RTTF) has become a tradition in FIFA Ultimate Team. This promo always comes with some OP cards and we are expecting the same this year. The RTTF cards are dynamic, which means they can improve as the season progresses.

Road To The Final (RTTF) is a promo which feature in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) featuring some amazing dynamic cards. The dynamic cards related to the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will upgrade automatically after certain requirements are met. We expect the RTTF event to work the same as in previous years.

Last year, Road To The Final (RTTF) was just one week promo, and this year we expect the same. According to leaks, the promo is coming soon and we expect RTTF to return this year on 17th February, 2023.
FIFA 23 Road To The Final (RTTF) Content
As you might already know, EA’s promo teams usually stay in the packs for one week and some promos for two weeks. Additionally, we will see lots of Squad Building Challenges, Special Packs, Swaps and also some free-to-play Objective players.
The Road To The Final (RTTF) promo will probably be very similar to last year’s, where we saw a variety of different and appealing cards.
How Do RTTF Upgrades Work In FIFA 23?
As in previous years, the cards will receive dynamic upgrades. The upgrades relate to the reallife results of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
Cards can get five upgrades if they manage to fulfill these requirements:
- First knockout game win after campaign launch
- Qualifying for the quarterfinals
- Qualifying for the semifinals
- Qualifying for the final
- Winning the tournament
When Will RTTF Cards Be Upgraded?
“Any Road to the Final item upgrades can take up to a few days to update in-game”, says EA.
The upgrades will occur at the end of each week when a given stage has concluded.
